Q: HOW CAN YOU WHITEN MY TEETH IF YOU ARE NOT A DENTAL PROFESSIONAL?
A: Teeth whitening is regularly offered outside a dental offices in a "client administered" form. In a nut-shell, we are a retail business. What that means is that we give you the product, tools, expertise and supervision. You will paint the gel onto your enamel yourself. We do not touch your mouth at all during this process.
Q: I HAVE SENSITIVE TEETH, IS THIS GOING TO CAUSE ZINGERS OR DISCOMFORT?
A: Most of our clients experience NO sensitivity. If a client experiences sensitivity or discomfort, the client has used an over-the-counter whitening product shortly before seeing us. Carbamide peroxide in those certain whitening kits breaks down into the hydrogen peroxide causing a chemical reaction on the surface of your enamel. We offer a painless and safer method using hydrogen peroxide. We offer a complimentary remineralization that restores your enamel post-whitening.
Q: ARE THE PRODUCTS SAFE?
A: Yes. Our products are sourced from laboratories located solely in the United States. Your oral safety is our #1 priority.
Q: I HAVE FALSE TEETH/CROWNS, WILL THIS PROCESS WHITEN THEM AS WELL?
A: Our process will remove any staining that has occured since your crown/filling/veneer etc, was installed. However the original color will not change as it is not made of natural enamel. Clients with artificial teeth often whiten with us. The method we use, gives the flexibility to customize each treatment.
Q: HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
A: Your new smile lasts as long as you maintain it. If it stains your clothes, it stains your teeth. With the proper maintenance you are able to prolong your results from 2-6 months.
Q: HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE AND CAN YOU BE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
A: You can whiten as young as 14 with a guardian's signature. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Nothing has been tested to know this for sure. Consult your doctor for questions.
Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR PRODUCT AND WHAT MY DENTIST OFFERS?
A: The main difference is the peroxide used, the intensity of the light, and the damage caused by the harsh chemical compound or overnight use from the product your dentist uses. Our formula is lower than that of dental grade, and it is much less abrasive on the enamel.
Q: WHERE WILL MY WHITENING TREATMENT TAKE PLACE?
A: You can whiten at our studio or book a mobile appointment. A $20 travel fee applies to mobile appointments and increase depending on your distance from our studio. We can accomodate all appointment types and party sizes.
